This is a serious set of Machinist's squares for woodworkers who are serious about accuracy in their workshop. It provides you with all the sizes you need from 2 inch to 12 inch; six in all (2", 3", 4", 6", 9", and 12"). A lacquered wooden case is provided for safe keeping, just keep them away from your "friends"! The accuracy y is + or - 0.0004 in. per linear inch. Made from hardened tool steel, these are hefty squares. The largest (12") has a base measuring 13/16" X 1 1/2" X 8" and weighs a lofty 3lbs! We recommend a periodic spraying with Boeshield T-9 spray to keep them clean and rust free. |

Of all the rust proofing products tested by a woodworking magazine, T-9 was found to be the best. It provides rust and corrosion protection as well as waterproof lubrication. Simply spray on and wipe for long lasting protection. We highly recommend using it on machinists squares, calipers and other non-stainless steel tools as well as saw tabletops.
