At the total length of 14" (blade 6") these Japanese saws with bubinga handle are just the right size for a novice or a contractor for carrying in a tool box. All types of Japanese saws are included. Made by Maruyoshi Co. of Miki, Japan. Blades are replaceable.
1. Compact Ryoba - the double sided saw with rip teeth on one side and finer crosscut on the other.
2. Dozuke Backsaw - commonly called the dovetail saw, it is used for cutting fine straight lines for making various joints.
3. The Combination Saw, Kataba - with special teeth with rip and crosscut, this is an all purpose saw.
4. The Flush Cut Saw - with the blade wider than most flush cut saws, this saw can cut through large dowels easily without marring the surface.
A denim tool roll for storage is included. Also, a fine Japanese feather file for quick sharpening.
